Chandigarh, February 29 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal will inaugurate community centers built at a cost of about Rs 351.81 lakh from the villages Kachhwa, Pundrak, Dabri in Karnal tomorrow. On this occasion, the Chief Minister will also address villagers of Kachhwa village.
Giving information in this regard, the district administration spokesman said that the community center has been constructed in the village Kachhwa through the Panchayat Department at a cost of Rs 132.72 lakh. The covered area of this building is 8,630 square feet, this community center has a large hall, veranda, three rooms, one library, one store, staircase construction, watch room, kitchen, gate with a seating area for 500 people. The construction of parking and washrooms is complete. The construction of this center will facilitate the people of the village to organize marriages, ceremonies, cultural and religious programs.
He informed that the community center has been constructed in the village Pundarak through the Panchayat Department at a cost of Rs 119.51 lakh. The covered area of this building is 8,000 square feet, this community centre has a big hall with a seating area for 350 people, verandah, three rooms, one library, staircase construction, kitchen, construction of boundary wall, including gate, parking, women, and men.
The spokesman said that the Sikh Community Center has been constructed through the Panchayat Department at a cost of Rs 99.58 lakh in village Dabri. In the said amount, Rs 32 lakh was included as a contribution by the people. The covered area of this building is 6,500 square feet, a large hall in this center, construction of staircase, construction of boundary wall including gate, parking has been constructed.
