Chandigarh, Aug 31 – Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal said that out of the 7900 CM announcements made in the state during the last five years, work on maximum either have been completed or are in progress.

Apart from this, the present State Government has also completed the work on 6300 announcements, which were incomplete for the ten years of the previous government.

The Chief Minister was addressing the people of Bawal Assembly constituency during the Jan Aashirwad Yatra today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 12 projects worth Rs 177 crore for Bawal Assembly Constituency, including construction of bus stand, power substation and water supply projects.

The Chief Minister said that the government has made most of the schemes of various departments online for the convenience of the people so that they people would not have to visit government offices. In addition to this, CM window was started so that people can get their work done online from their homes and they would not have to visit Chandigarh to get their works done. He said that 6,20,000 complaints were received on the CM window, of which 5,80,000 have been settled.

He said that Shivdham Scheme has been implemented for construction of paved road, water system, boundary wall and shed in cremation grounds and graveyards in the state and this work has been completed in more than 70 per cent of cremation grounds and graveyards. He said that recently announcement was made to make pucca the roads leading from villages to the fields and in coming time, no road leading to any field in the state will remain kutcha.
