Chandigarh, July 18 – Haryana Government has decided to extend the benefit of enhancement of children education allowance from Rs 750 per month to Rs 1,125 per month with effect from May 1, 2018 to eligible children of deceased government employees.
While stating this here today, Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu said that the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, has approved a proposal to this effect.
He said that the State Government had issued a scheme to grant Children Education Allowance of Rs 500 per month per child maximum to first two living children to government employees with effect from July 1, 2009. The mentioned rates were revised from Rs 500 per month to Rs 750 per month with effect from January 1, 2014 on the same terms and conditions.
It is worth mentioning here that the office of Chief Secretary has also issued clarification that instructions will also be applicable to the deceased government employees, who died while in service. The office of Chief Secretary had also made amendments in Compassionate Assistance to the Dependents of Deceased Government Employees (Amendment) Rules, 2018 according to which last pay received by the dependents of deceased government employee, who died before January 1, 2016, will be revised in accordance with the formula and procedure laid down in HCS (RP) Rules, 2016 and HCS (ACP) Rules, 2016 as the case may be.
Chandigarh, July 18 – Giving a bonanza to the people of the state, the Haryana Government has started a bus service between Faridabad and Kotdwar of Uttarakhand. A bus was flagged off by the Haryana Transport Minister, Mr. Krishna Lal Panwar in the presence of Member of Parliament from Uttarakhand, Mr. Anil Baluni from Faridabad to Kotdwar today.
The Transport Minister said that the Haryana Roadways bus will ply from Faridabad to Kotdwar everyday and will start at 6.45 p.m.
He said that this bus route is 294 km long. He said that the Transport Department has also applied for permit to start the bus service between Faridabad and Ramnagar. He expressed hope that soon the bus service of Haryana Roadways will also be started for Ramnagar.
Referring to the steps taken by the State Transport, Mr. Krishan Lal Panwar said that the State Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, has given 50 per cent exemption in fare to the senior citizens(women above 60 years, men above 65 years ) in the state transport buses.
District President, Mr. Gopal Sharma was also present on this occasion.
Chandigarh July 18: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has accorded administrative approval amounting to over Rs 16.18 crore for the construction of road Lalyan to Chota Baraula alongwith bridge on Tangri River in Ambala district.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the Chief Minister has also approved change of scope of work to construct 4-lanned road from Jhajjar Subana Kosli (State Highway-22) road to Jhajjar Railway station in district Jhajjar instead of 5.50 meter wide carriageway as per approved rough cost estimate road against balance funds available amounting to over Rs 2.14 crore.
Chandigarh, July 18 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has announced that the enhanced fee charged from the college students will be rolled back with immediate effect and the fee structure of the last academic year will be charged from the college students. He also announced that the difference of enhanced fee will be refunded back to the students by the respective colleges with in a fortnight.
The Chief Minister also directed all the Vice Chancellors of the affiliating State universities should notify the same fee structure as was applicable to the students in the academic session 2018-19 for the academic session 2019-20 as well.
A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad under the leadership of Kshetriya Sangthan Mantri, North Zone of the Parishad, Mr. Vikrant Khandelwal, met the Chief Minister today and presented a representation demanding that the enhanced fee being charged from the college students of the state in the academic session 2019-20 may be rolled back
