Chandigarh, May 30 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that after 50 years in the history of Indian democracy, it is for the second time that a government has been formed for the second consecutive time with absolute majority.
Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi is going to form his government for the second consecutive time with full majority. Prior to this, in 1971, the then Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, formed her government with majority.
Before joining the oath taking ceremony of the Prime Minister and other members of the Cabinet, Mr. Manohar Lal interacted with the media at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi. He said that it is a matter of great pride for all of us that Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi is going to take oath of office of Prime Minister with full majority for the consecutive term. He said that prior to this, in 1971, the then Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi formed her government with a majority. Now in 2019, Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi is going to form a government for the second time with a greater majority than Mrs. Indira Gandhi.
