Chandigarh, June 19- Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister, Mrs Kavita Jain today directed the Mayors of Yamunanagar, Panipat, Karnal and Hisar, who called upon on her, to start preparations for the cleanliness survey in municipal corporation areas so that the cities of Haryana could achieve the leading positions in this survey.

The BJP’s elected Mayors of Municipal Corporation elections that held in December, 2018, today called upon the Urban Local Bodies Minister. During the meeting, Mrs. Jain directed them to make firm arrangements to avoid water logging situation during rainy season, inform the general public about government schemes and monitor the basic development works, so that the benefits of the scheme reaches the last person in the queue.

On this occasion, Mayor of Karnal, Mrs Renubala Gupta, Mayor of Yamunanagar, Mr Madan Chauhan, Mayor of Panipat Mrs Avneet Kaur and Mayor of Hisar, Mr Gautam Sardana submitted a charter of demands to Mrs. Jain during her meeting. Mrs. Jain, assured to discuss their demands with Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, to resolve them.
