Chandigarh, June 14- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, today on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day has appealed to the people of the state to voluntarily come forward to donate blood as blood donation is a noble cause and timely provided blood can save someone's precious life.

In a message issued here today, the Chief Minister said that along with Government efforts, some Non-Governmental Organizations and Social Institutions have been organizing blood donation camps from time to time and also motivating people to donate blood. Everyone should come forward for such noble cause to serve humanity. Amid Corona, the importance of blood donation has been increased considerably.

The Chief Minister said that the person who comes forward for this noble cause earns respect and dignity in the society and also becomes a source of inspiration among the youth.
