Chandigarh, February 23- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that many schemes have been implemented by the State Government for the development of every region and every section of the society without any discrimination.
He said that in the next financial year, the State Government is going to make a provision, under which every Assembly constituency will get Rs 80 crore for Urban and Rural Development.
The Chief Minister was addressing the Haryana Pragati rally at Hathin in Palwal district today.
The Chief Minister said that for the first time in the new financial year, a plan is being drafted for fixing a year-long grant dedicated to urban and rural development and under this, a monthly budget will be allotted in the financial year from April to March. In the same sequence, the three Assembly Constituencies of Palwal district will get a total of 240 crores for the coming financial year.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the State Government will present the upcoming budget based on the suggestions taken from every section. He informed that the budget has been prepared with the suggestions taken from MP, MLAs, entrepreneurs, farmers, women and administrative officers.
He said that after the announcement of the upcoming State budget, a grant will be fixed exclusively for the development of rural and urban areas. Under this, development works carried out by Gram Panchayat, Zilla Parishad, Municipal Council and Committees will be completed on a priority basis.
He said that during the last five years, an amount of about Rs 1100 crore has been spent on development works in all the three Assembly Constituencies of Palwal district.
The Chief Minister said that the previous State Government had never thought about the public interest but now the present State Government has taken concrete steps towards development. He said that during the 100 days of the State Government, several decisions have been taken for the public welfare.
The Chief Minister said that for the beautification, cleanliness and water conservation a Pond Authority has been constituted. He informed that 25 canteens have been started in vegetable Mandis and sugar mills of the State s for providing food at a reasonable rate of Rs. 10 per plate for farmers and more such canteens will be opened soon in the remaining districts.
He said that by making strides in the development of the rural area of the State, all villages will be made free from Lal Dora and every household living in these villages will also have a complete revenue record. He said that the benefit of Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana is being given to the farmers producing fruits and vegetables.
He said that by the year 2022, the State Government is moving ahead with the target of providing Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) to every household. He said that the eligible families covered under Mukhyamantri Parivar Samriddhi Yojana is getting benefits.
Union Minister of State for Social Justices and Empowerment, Mr. Krishan Pal Gurjar thanked the Chief Minister and said that in the last five years the work of canals pavers has been done in this district. He said that the State Government under the leadership of Mr. Manohar Lal is continuously working for the upliftment of every section On this occasion, Transport Minister Mr. Mool Chand Sharma, Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal and MLAs were also present.
