Chandigarh, July 4- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that despite COVID-19, now industrial and commercial activities are back to normal in the state. In order to prevent the effect of pandemic on children’s education during the Corona transition period, education is being imparted through online mode.
The Chief Minister was talking to mediapersons in Rohtak today. He said that the procurement of foodgrains during the Corona pandemic was also satisfactory. To expedite the procurement of wheat, the government had set up more than 1,800 procurement centres and during this season, record procurement of mustard, wheat and other crops was made. Meanwhile, the farmers were also paid directly to their account through pool account.
The Chief Minister said that PGIMS, Rohtak and administration are dealing with Corona pandemic with full preparedness. He said that the whole world is fighting against Corona.
He said that he has discussed this issue in detail with PGI Rohtak and administrative officers. Complete preparations have been made for availability of isolation beds, ICU beds, COVID care centres, availability of hospital beds and oxygen.
He said that today he has also inspected Khanpur Medical College in Sonepat and has also talked to doctors about improving the prevailing condition of corona spread. He said that he has met patients of Corona and took information about their health at the medical college.
On this occasion, former Haryana Minister Mr. Manish Kumar Grover, Municipal Corporation Mayor Mr. Manmohan Goyal, Rohtak Mandal Commissioner Dr. D Suresh, IG Mr. Sandeep Khirwar, Deputy Commissioner Mr. RS Verma, Superintendent of Police Mr. Rahul Sharma, CID and SP, Cyber Crime Mr. Pankaj Nain and officers from various departments were present.
