Chandigarh November 5: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal said that as the bus stand at Israna, district Panipat has become ineffective due to the construction of a flyover, there is a provision of a new bus stand in place of the existing one at the beginning or end of the flyover as per availability of land for the convenience of the people of the area.

Mr Manohar Lal was replying to a question during the question hour on the first day of the ongoing session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.

He said that all necessary facilities including separate toilets for male and female would also be provided at the new bus stand.

On the demand for a bus stand at village Madlauda, in district Panipat, the Chief Minister said that at present there is a bus queue shelter at Madlauda. He said that the village has expanded gradually in the due course of time and there is a need for a bus stand there. He said that a new bus stand would be got constructed by the State Government at Madlauda provided that the village Panchayat provides required land for the same.
