Chandigarh, July 5 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that 7,950 Chief Minister's announcements have so far been made during the reign of the present State Government, which is more than the announcements made during the last 10 years of the Congress Party. All round development is being carried out by the government in the entire state without discrimination, which has been supported by the public and in the upcoming assembly elections, the party will again get full public support.
Mr. Manohar Lal was interacting with media persons after inaugurating and laying foundation stones of various development projects of over Rs 34.38 crore at Kaithal today.
The Chief Minister said that there will be transparency with the introduction of e-Girdawari of crops by the State Government. Meri Fasal, Mera Byora portal has been launched. Farmers will be able to upload their crop details on this portal for one month. The Government will take crop data through satellite along with e-Girdawari. He said that strict action will be taken against those commiting irregularities in Girdawari.
Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones of 14 development projects of over Rs 34.38 crore. Of these, ten projects were inaugurated costing over Rs 24.57 crore. These included residential house and mortuary building CHC, Guhla set up at a cost of over Rs 5.31 crore, 33 KV substations built in villages Kharka, Bhusla and Pilani of the district at a cost of Rs three crore each, Papsar Sub Minor set up at a cost of over Rs 2.95 crore, rehabilitation of Kailram Minor at a cost of Rs 92.96 lakh, rehabilitation of Munnarehri Minor at a cost of over Rs 1.69 crore and rehabilitation of Sajuma Minor rejuvenation at a cost of Rs. 40.28 lakh, Electronic Voting Machine Centre in the premises of Mini Secretariat at a cost of over Rs. 1.82 crore and link road from village Theh Banera to Peedal via Theh Newal canal, at a cost of Rs.2.46 crore.
The Chief Minister laid foundation stones of four development projects including rejuvenation of Urlana Minor at a cost of Rs. 2.33 crore, construction of bridge on drain near village Khambehra costing over Rs. 2.04 crore, construction of general ghat and toilet on the Rasmangal Tirth, Jakholi) at a cost of Rs over Rs 2.79 crore and renovation and beautification of Kukrityanashan Tirth, Kakot at a cost of over Rs 2.63 crore.
Others present on this occasion included Member of Parlament, Mr. Nayab Singh Saini, MLAs Mr. Kulwant Ram Bazigar, Mr. Dinesh Kaushik, District President, Mr. Ashok Gurjar and other dignitaries.
