Chandigarh, August 17 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal expressed deep condolences on the demise of renowned classical vocalist Pandit Jasraj.

Pandit Jasraj, who was 90 years old hailed from Hisar district in Haryana and breathed his last today in America.

The Chief Minister said that Pandit Jasraj gave a new height to Indian classical music. He played a pivotal role in taking Indian classical music to the world stage. The Chief Minister while paying tribute to Pandit Jasraj said that his death has left a deep void in the music world.
