Chandigarh, January 31: Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal at New Delhi today approved the formulation of Policy for resettlement of squatters at Terminal Market Ganaur (Fruit, Vegetable, Flowers and Dairy Products Terminal), Ganaur.
As per the policy, the plots having a size of 2 marla on the land which is purchased for the rehabilitation of oustees of India International Horticulture Market (IIHM), Ganaur, may be allotted to each of the squatters residing on the land of IIHM, Ganaur and the price of the plot will be charged at the rate Rs.1, 66,077 of 2 marla plot payable in 100 equal monthly installments. No administrative or other costs will be charged from the squatters. The other terms and conditions of the allotment to these squatters including a schedule of installments will be adopted as are determined by Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran for allotment to encroachers or occupants in Urban Estate, Karnal.
A committee consisting of Xen, IIHM, Ganaur, the District Marketing Enforcement Officer and the Secretary-cum- E.0, Market Committee, Ganaur under the chairmanship of the officer to be nominated by Chief Operating Officer, India International Horticulture Market, Ganaur will determine the eligibility of the applicants or squatters after inviting applications.
