Chandigarh, September 15: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) is an ambitious scheme of the State Government, which aims to ensure the benefit of all the government welfare schemes and services to the eligible families.
He said that this flagship scheme of the State Government has been launched in the spirit of Antyodaya. Therefore all Heads of Departments should ensure to link the schemes and services of their respective departments with PPP by November 1, 2021.
The Chief Minister said this while presiding over the meeting of the concerned Heads of Departments here today.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that Haryana is the first state in the country to make such a scheme for making Parivar Pehechan Patra of each family. So far, this scheme has neither been started in the country nor abroad. This is the flagship scheme of the government to ensure that government can reach out to those eligible families who are entitled to get the benefits of the government scheme and have not availed them yet.
Immediate benefits are given on admission as soon as PPP is implemented
Referring to the benefits of the Parivar Pehchan Patra scheme, Chief Minister said that the immediate benefits of linking PPP in college admissions have been seen. The college principals themselves are appreciating this step.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that after linking PPP with admission, the automatic verification of student data was done. With this, the work that used to take 15 minutes is now completed in just 5 minutes and the students do not have to go here and there for their verification work.
Simplification of services in this IT era
Sh. Manohar Lal said that the present era is of Information Technology (IT). Services are being simplified with the use of IT. With the introduction of PPP, it will be easy to know who is eligible to take benefit of which scheme and who has not got the benefit of these schemes.
He said that many times people, who are not genuine beneficiaries, are found taking benefits of schemes . Besides this, many people are taking benefit of schemes many times over. Earlier there was no system to verify the beneficiaries, now there will be a complete transparency in the implementation of government schemes through PPP.
Benefit of schemes to be made available through smartcard
Chief Minister said that now the benefits of government schemes will also be available through smart cards. Smartcard will be linked with PPP. Initially, Ayushman Bharat, Public Ration Distribution System, Mukhyamantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana and Pension Scheme are being linked with smart cards.
Haryana Volunteer Programme to be launched
The Chief Minister said that people working voluntarily would be added under the Haryana Volunteer Programme. There are many tasks for the government, in such a situation, services of volunteers including youth, retired employees, would be taken in the field of education, skill development, sports, agriculture etc.
He said that no programme or scheme is successful without the participation of the society, through NGOs and volunteers, etc the results of programmes are fruitful. He said that this Samarpan Yojana would be launched on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.
During the meeting, a PPT related to the Engineering Works Portal prepared as per the directions of the Chief Minister was also shown. Under this all the work related to the registration of the contractor, his performance, online works allotment, time-bound passing will be done transparently.
