Chandigarh, March 25 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal attended the swearing-in ceremony of Yogi Adityanath, who has been elected as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for second term consecutively. The Chief Minister of Haryana congratulated the newly elected Chief Minister and extended best wishes for his second term. The swearing-in programme was done at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal expressed hope that Yogi Adityanath will do better than his first term as Chief Minister.
Sharing more information in this regard here today, a spokesperson of Haryana Government said that Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal was given a grand welcome at the oath taking ceremony. Hoardings and banners were put up in his honour. The oath taking ceremony was organized in a grand manner wherein Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi along with members of his cabinet and Chief Ministers of 12 BJP ruled states participated.
It is also worth mentioning here that the second term of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has been termed as Modi-2, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal's second term as Manohar-2 and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's second term as Yogi-2. This also became a matter of discussion among the distinguished persons at the oath taking ceremony. Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal was sitting on the dais with the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Sh. Shivraj Singh Chouhan and he apprised Sh. Chouhan about new schemes being implemented by the Haryana Government, especially the Parivar Pehchan Patra, Mera Pani-Meri Virasat and the new Department of Human Resource for government employees.
