Chandigarh, March 21: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal inaugurated and laid foundation stones of 163 projects worth Rs. 1411 crore in 22 districts of the state through video conferencing here today.
On this occasion, the Union Ministers, Cabinet Ministers of State, Ministers of State, Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assembly and Deputy Commissioners were present at the programmes organized in various districts of the state.
During a programme at Panchkula, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta said that development projects across the entire State have been ensured following the objective of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. He said that Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has announced several development projects in Panchkula. He said that these projects will prove to be milestones in the development of Panchkula. Expressing his gratitude to the Chief Minister for the announcement of developing a film city in Panchkula, he said that besides getting identity at National level, Panchkula will also establish a new identity at International level as well. He said that attracting Hollywood and Bollywood artists here will not only benefit the hotel industry but will also generate employment opportunities for the youth.
In Hisar, Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker, Sh. Ranbir Singh Gangwa said that the basic mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ and Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek led by Haryana Government has announced various projects for the development of people across the State. Even under the adverse circumstances of the Corona period, the State Government has not halted the development work across the State. It has been ensured that the benefits of these development works and welfare schemes reach to every needy person.
In Yamunanagar, Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal said that these projects will expedite the development of the State. The Community Health Center set up in Pratap Nagar will provide better health services to the people of 47 villages of Ghad region and will provide facilities of free medicines, dental care, AYUSH, physiotherapy and laboratory to the people. The opening of Government College at Aharwala, Bilaspur in Yamunanagar will provide opportunity to the daughters to get higher education.
During a programme at Sirsa, Power, New & Renewable Energy and Jails Minister, Sh. Ranjit Singh said that the State Government is consistently making efforts for the development of the State. Every needy person across the State has been getting the benefits of the welfare schemes according to the objective Antodaya being run by the State Government.
Ensuring that development work continue in the state even in the hour of crisis during COVID-19 pandemic is a great achievement of the State Government. He said that as per the goals of the State Government every person should get the benefit of development schemes. For this purpose the Government is working on objective of Antyodaya, he added.
Haryana Co-operation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal said that Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has, without discrimination, ensured uniform development work in all areas. Education, health, security, and self-respect are the priority of the State Government. He said that the State Government is developing Haryana in tandem with Haryana Ek Haryanvi Ek. The development projects which have been inaugurated and those for which foundation stones have been laid will prove to be a milestone for Rewari.
Haryana Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma said that inclusion of the five villages of the Hodal Vidhan Sabha area in the Mahagram Yojana is a commendable step. Now work like laying of sewerage lines in these villages and increasing the supply of water will be faster like in the cities. With the completion of this scheme, people of the villages will start getting facilities like cities. In all these villages, sewerage lines and drinking water connections will reach every home, he added. He said that apart from this, under the Amrut scheme in Palwal, sewerage and drinking water supply works have also been carried out. Surely the government's slogan of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' has proved to be meaningful, he added.
In Bhiwani, Haryana Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister, Sh. JP Dalal said that the Haryana Government is carrying out all round development work in all circles without any discrimination. The priority of the State Government is that all the connectivity routes of the state will be made pucca; the Public Works Department will construct roads up to six Karam, the Marketing Board up to five Karam and less than five Karam routes will be made pucca by the Gram Panchayats. He appealed to citizens to save water.
In Narnaul, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Sh. OP Yadav said that this move of the State Government is a big step towards the creation of a New Haryana. When education institutes open in rural areas, the students from the surrounding areas will benefit from it. The history of the college in Seehma village has been linked with AIIMS because today AIIMS has been approved in Majra near Manethi, Rewari. The state is constantly moving ahead on the path of development and under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, equal development work is being done in the state in accordance with the Sabka Saath- Sabka Vikas.
In Kaithal, Minister of State for Woman and Child Development, Smt. Kamlesh Dhanda said that all inclusive development is taking place in the state. The Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal is taking the state to new heights by following the principle of maximizing good governance. In order to achieve the goal of Antyodaya in the state, emphasis is being laid on improvement in governance and service delivery, so that the benefit of the public welfare schemes reach the last person in line.
In Kurukshatra, Haryana Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sh. Sandeep Singh said that with the launch of these projects millions of people of Kurukshetra will benefit and Kurukshetra will get a new identity in terms of tourism and development. Along with this, Kurukshetra will also develop into a sports hub, he added. He said that one of the goals of the State Government under the leadership of Sh. Manohar Lal is to increase the pace of development and provide necessary facilities to every person of the society.
In Hisar, Haryana Minister of State for Archaeology & Museums, Sh. Anoop Dhanak said that today is a historic day for Haryana. Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal and Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala have ensured the overall development of every district, block and village in the state. Initiatives have been taken to maintain and renovate the historical heritage of the state. In this series, the beautification work of Bodh Stupa established in Kurukshetra University has also been started, and it will be developed as a tourist destination at a cost of about Rs. 6 crore.
