Chandigarh, July 28- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the objectionable remarks made by Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury about the President, Smt. Droupadi Murmu is not only an anti-women remark but it has also insulted the entire tribal society and every woman of India. This remark certainly shows the anti-poor, anti-tribal and anti-women mentality of Congress.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that the office of the President is the highest in the Constitution and such remarks made for a person holding the highest office show the sick mentality of Congress and its leaders.
Smt. Droupadi Murmu has struggled throughout her life. Due to this struggle, she has reached this post today, but it seems that Congress is not happy to see a tribal woman holding the topmost position *in our Country* said Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister said that for the first time after independence, a woman from the tribal community has become the President of India and Congress is insulting her, which is not acceptable, he added.
Not only Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury but the entire Congress should apologize to the country and the President for making such an extremely shameful and condemnable remark.
