Chandigarh, February 7- Haryana Chief Minister has directed the officers concerned to expedite the work related to the verification of Parivar Pehchan Patra data, especially of the elderly, persons with disabilities and children.
Sh. Manohar Lal gave these directions while presiding over the review meeting of the Citizen Resources Information Department (CRID) at his residence Sant Kabir Kutir held late evening.
The Chief Minister said that along with considering the needs of the senior citizens residing in the state, work should be done on gathering the necessary information related to their interests, talent, hobbies, etc.
It is the responsibility of the government to take care of every senior citizen. Officers concerned should work to make the system adopted by CRID more rational, directed to Sh. Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister also directed the officers to compile data related to children including those going to crèche, Anganwadi, and school.
Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. D.S Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Principal Secretary, Citizen Resources Information Department, Sh. V. Umashankar, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal, and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
