Chandigarh, December 17– Vice President of India, Sh. Jagdeep Dhankhar today inaugurated the state-level exhibition organized by the Information, Public Relations, Language, and Culture Department at the International Gita Mahotsav in Kurukshetra. Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, Minister of State, Sardar Sandeep Singh, Member of Parliament and BJP State President Sh. Nayab Singh Saini and other dignitaries also attended the inauguration ceremony.
In his address, the Vice President praised Haryana for being a beacon of both glorious history and developmental progress. He highlighted the significance of Haryana's developmental achievements, positioning the state as a leader among the top states in the country. Drawing parallels with the birthplace of the Bhagavad Gita, he emphasized the global impact of Haryana's developmental strides.
The state-level exhibition showcased Haryana's achievements over the past nine years through narratives, records, and images. Vice President, Sh. Jagdeep Dhankhar and Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal personally visited stalls dedicated to departmental developmental achievements and public service-oriented development schemes. The exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of the state's progress and contributions.
The Chief Minister showcased the dynamic developmental facets of Haryana, highlighting the transformative changes the state has undergone in the last nine years. The Vice President expressed appreciation for the Chief Minister's leadership style and commended the state's commitment to development.
Director General, Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal provided detailed information about the departmental exhibition to the Vice President, Chief Minister, and other dignitaries.
The exhibition, located at Brahma Sarovar Purshottampura Bagh, will remain open to tourists until December 24. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the state's achievements and witness the impactful initiatives undertaken by the Haryana government in various sectors.
