Chandigarh, April 8 -  Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today attended the virtual review meeting held under the Chairmanship of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi with  Chief Ministers of all the states,  Lieutenant  Governors and Administrators of Union Territories over the recent surge in COVID-19 cases. 

During the meeting,  Union Health Secretary presented  the latest data regarding COVID-19 infection. The data showed that as compared to other states, Haryana is in a better position in controlling the Pandemic.   It was informed that even in terms of Vaccination Drive,  Haryana is in a better position as compared to other states.

The Chief Minister, Sh.  Manohar Lal directed the Health Department officials to ensure compliance with the directions given by Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi during the meeting.

Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala and Home and Health Minister, Sh.  Anil Vij also attended the meeting. 

During the meeting, it was shared that even in terms of conducting tests, Haryana is ahead as compared to its neighbouring states.

Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi directed the states to ramp up their testing along with strengthening their tracking systems too. 

Chief Secretary, Sh. Vijai Vardhan, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. D.S Dhesi, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Sh. Rajeev Arora, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar and officers of the Health Department and other senior officers were present.
